Is UpViral a scam?

I was fairly skeptical when I heard about this service, and first thought that UpViral is a scam myself! But believe me, this tool is powerful!

UpViral Wilco de Kreij

Although I have no idea how to pronounce the creator of this product's name, just a few search results show that he can be trusted. He has created a few other products that also have a large amount of people on monthly subscriptions, which proves his products aren't.. well.. crap haha!

So what's the deal with this one? Well, imagine being able to take any email, opt-in, landing page, or anything really, and being able to give those people something in exchange for sharing your message.

This is something that all of the marketing giants utilize! They are basically tapping into the massive amount of free traffic that their existing audience is connected with. It's all about that exponential word-of-mouth effect!

With just some of their beta testers, they were able to pull in 1,000's of leads with their different campaigns... in a few weeks! There's a whole lot more insane results on the information page you should check out, if nothing else to see how effective it is.

There are a whole bunch of other awesome features contained within UpViral and for the price, it's almost a steal! Especially when you consider how much you can grow your business with it!

Pros and Cons

Good:

  • Templates for sign up, share, and thank you pages
  • Integrates with almost all existing tools and websites
  • Very clean and easy-to-use dashboard for making campaigns
  • Live analytics
  • Can run A/B testing to optimize campaigns

Bad:

  • It won't hold your hand

-The Good-

Kicking things off, we have the meat of UpViral, which is the ability to set up different campaigns. There are 3 main types of launches, and these are giveaways, contests, and product launches:

UpViral Campaign

Giveaways allow you to set a certain amount of referrals someone needs in order to get access to a product. Something like a free report or ebook of higher quality, so they feel like they really earned it.

Contests let you set up a points system and determine how much different actions are worth. For instance, you could make it so that sharing on Facebook is worth more points than Twitter. Than, you can automatically have it choose a winner based on chance. More points=higher chance of winning. Or, manually choose!

The product launch option lets you give early access to people who get enough referrals.

UpViral Templates

And of course, all of this is totally customizable and UpViral has a ton of different templates to choose from!

A big thing people would probably worry about using a tool like this... is having it replace their existing campaigns. Nope! All of it is designed to integrate flawlessly with just a few pieces of copy and paste code!

Just look at this image UpViral has of all the different compatible products:

UpViral Compatability

Something that's a must now in online marketing is having split testing. You need to know if changing how something looks can increase your conversions, and UpViral lets you do just that!

UpViral AB Testing

I've tried plenty of products with crap dashboards. It pretty much destroys the experience since you spend most of your time figuring out how it all works!

Good news is UpViral made it as clean as humanly possible! They also have steps included so you can't go astray when building campaigns.

Lastly, you need to be able to track all your campaigns! Well, thanks to all of the unique affiliate tracking codes your traffic receives, it's easily tracked. Once again, this page is also clean and easy to understand as shown below:

-The Bad-

The only bad thing about UpViral is that, although it has a lot of tips and shows you how to use the service, it's not going to hold your hand. It's not going to show you how to optimize your offers for your niche or anything like that.

In other words, it's like every other product where it will take some experimenting to make it work for you.

Upsells

I never mentioned it before, and normally I hate upsells, however UpViral's upsells actually make sense. There are just two of them, one of them being a different-but-related service of Wilco's and the other being a 7-week masterclass.

ConnectAudience is a service that allows you to, essentially, connect your UpViral account directly with your Facebook Ad's account. This let's you see all of your subscribers that use Facebook and then create custom ads aimed right at them. That means you could target your most responsive audience with non-spammy ads for even more conversions!

The price of ConnectAudience is $27/mo or $197 per year.

The masterclass is all based around showing you how to take your UpViral campaigns from good to great in video format. In the 7th week of videos you'll actually watch Wilco as he builds a campaign from the ground up! The price of this is a one-time fee of $97.

Price

As I've said in the beginning, the price is $49/mo or $35/mo if you pay yearly. Also, all of the features are included in the picture below:

Final Thoughts

UpViral is probably one of the best products I've reviewed on here. It's a product that can take any kind of campaign and drastically increase outreach. It's easy to use, functional, and effective. The only real downside is that it won't hold your hand with extensive training, although they do have an upsell for that, which is reasonable.

This service is one that stands above many others and gets my stamp of approval.
