What is Backlink Beast?

So... what is Backlink Beast? Put simply, it's software that is designed to get you a ton of "extremely diverse, high-quality backlinks." Of course, as all backlink software does, there are huge claims of being able to beat everybody else in Google rankings just by getting links.

It's created by a guy named Matt Callen who has some renown in the backlink-building and SEO-optimization corner of the internet. I don't know anything about his other products, however it does look like they are fairly reputable with a pretty big clientele.

Now, here's the thing... I don't like this kind of software. You know why? Because, although it promises to be safe from all Google updates, there's no way they can predict what Google decides to do.

Besides that, I am very much against the concept of seeing Google as an obstacle. It's got a system in place that rewards those that work hard and punishes those that want rankings without any hard work... which is exactly what this software is meant to do. I prefer white hat SEO which are the legitimate tactics to build long-term websites and rankings.

Now that's not to say this tool doesn't work... because there are plenty of people out there, if you dig, that have found success with it. The issue, is the longevity of your website using the software when those Google updates come out the coming months and years.

But, if you are still interested in Backlink Beast, read on to learn about the features.

Pros and Cons

Good:

  • Trial period
  • Money back guarantee through Clickbank
  • Fully automatic system
  • Lots of link diversity

Bad:

  • Time could be spent creating content
  • Lacks content spinner
  • Lacks link indexer
  • Can result in death of your website

-The Good-

A really good thing to see here is a trial plus a money back system in place that is guaranteed by Clickbank. That right there tells me that it's going to be somewhat more legit than other software that might not use Clickbank.

Next up is the automacy of the software. You can set it to build however many backlinks you want, when you want them, where from, etc. So it really does end up being fully automatic, which is incredibly nice for this kind of software. Otherwise you'd be spending too much time with it instead of making great content, like you should be!

Finally, there is quite a bit of diversity in terms of links. It ca do social network site submissions, web 2.0 article sites, social bookmarking submissions, PDF and document sharing sites, wWeb 2.0 profile links, press release submissions, and RSS link promotion.

-The Bad-

Time is precious. It should be spent creating quality content that people love, not on using a system to try and cheat your rankings. Click here to checkout a great article on why backlinks aren't even needed.

Now, in terms of backlink generating software, Backlink Beast can be considered a "lite" version due to the typical features that it is missing. When it is submitting articles and such it needs, well, articles to submit! There's no way you can actually write all of the articles that you'd want, even if you manually "spun" the articles, so you need software for that.

And Backlink Beast doesn't provide that! So that's an extra cost that you would have to include with the monthly $67 or lifetime $397.

The other feature is a link indexer. This is another tool that, basically, quickens the speed of Google giving your various backlinks the 'green light' status that, then, allows your site to get rankings from those links. In other words, it will allow you to get much faster rankings from all backlinks.

... But Backlink Beast doesn't offer it. So chalk that up as another tool you have to pay for seperately.

Now for the worst part... if you don't know what you're doing, or if Google updates and majorly screws backlinks over more (Which I'm SURE they will), your site could lose a ton of rankings... or worse, be un-indexed. That's basically internet death, something no website can come back from.

Price

I've mentioned it a couple time already, but here's an image taken from their site that has the prices. (Notice the "limited time" discount. Heh, right.)

Final Thoughts

Backlink Beast is software that fulfills it's promise of being able to send out a bunch of backlinks... but that's about it. It requires outside tools and software to back it up. It also, like all other backlink generator software, has potential to cripple your long-term site rankings. I don't suggest using this software (I don't believe it's necessary), but you can click here to check it out.

As this isn't a total scam, in fact it could be a potentially great tool for some, I will give it my 'Caution" ranking.
